" Fashion is to stand out not to fit in "
Whichever religion we may be from or whether you don’t believe in God at all, we all love to light up when it gets dark. So no wonder that these colder days involve a lot of festivals that include a lot of rituals to do with lights.
I may not be a Christian that celebrates Christmas but I do like to participate in putting up a Christmas tree or putting on fairy lights around the house. When people ask me ‘so Jazz do you celebrate Christmas then?’ I of course say no because I am a Sikh and to be honest with you every year when it is the Christmas holidays we always go to India. So we have actually never celebrated it anyways.
However I could not resist myself from doing a photoshoot with the lights. Firstly because normally I never get the chance since we go to India every year and secondly because I love lights. Wether that is the sunlight, fairy-lights or daylight. I just find it beautiful to take photographs with light so I could of course not miss out on this opportunity.
I hope you a had a merry Christmas and I now wish you a very happy new year since it will only be a matter of few hours before we step into 2017.
